Product Description

Veiled chameleons are sexually dimorphic. Males will generally grow a taller crest than females. Also, once they are acclimated, they will eat insects from the owner's fingers.

  • Males' average adult length is 20-24 inches, while females' average adult length is only 14-20 inches
  • Lifespan up to 10 years.

Feeding Instructions

Veiled chameleons have a diet consisting of appropriately sized crickets, mealworms, and finely chopped greens. Adults typically consume a 50/50 ratio of insects to greens. All insects should be dusted with a calcium D3 and vitamin mix before feeding. Additionally, their leaves and branches should be misted daily for water, as they may not readily drink from a water bowl.
